Welcoming The Year of The Ox!

Hello friends! Happy Lunar New Year (Eve)! We are welcoming the year of the Ox! May this year bring you success and happiness!💓 I'm sharing a cute Lunar/Chinese New Year card today using Zodiac Ox stamp set from Mama Elephant. 

To start, I stamped all the images using Memento Black Ink Pad on a white card stock, colored them using Copic markers and fussy cut them out.  Next, I took a gold glitter card stock and used the scallop frame from Mama Elephant Slim Card Basic Die Cut for the card panel. I then took a white card stock, ran it through the die cut machine using the slimline frame and then ink blended Distress Oxide Aged Mahogany, Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin and Dried Marigold. I splattered it with gold shimmer watercolor paint. 

For the sentiments, I used Lawn Fawn Scripty Happy die cut and heat-embossed the words "new year" using white embossing powder on a red card stock. Finally, I assembled all the panels and images together using glue, double sided tape, and foam tape.

Heffy Doodle New Release Inspiration Blog Hop

Hello friends! Welcome to the Heffy Doodle New Release Inspiration Blog Hop! We are so excited to share amazing cards from 8 Design Team members using the new release! For today's card I'm featuring some awesome new products: Lots of Happy Stencil , Popping By stamps , Popping By dies  and Happy Birthday Shadow Heffy Cuts. First, I started by cutting a 4.25 x 5.5 inches panel, used Lots of Happy stencil and inked Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac. I love this stencil, it's definitely one of my favorite stencil from the new release. It' so versatile and can be used on many different types of projects.  Next, I stamped the images from Popping By and Party Palooza stamp sets. I colored them using Copic markers and cut them using the coordinating dies. Heffy Doodle New Release Inspiration Blog Hop

  Hello friends! Welcome to the Heffy Doodle New Release Inspiration Blog Hop! We are so excited to share amazing cards from the Design Team members using the new release! For today's card I'm featuring some awesome new products: Wrapped With Love stamp , Wrapped With Love Dies , Funhouse Diagonal Stripes Stencil , Layering Hearts Stencil , Mini Scalloped Imperial Rectangle Dies and The Greatest Show Patterned Paper. First, I started by cutting a piece of white card stock using the largest scalloped rectangle die from Mini Scalloped Imperial Rectangle Dies . I placed Layering Hearts Stencil and inked Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo, Milled Lavender and Candied Apple. I love this stencil, it's definitely one of my favorite stencil from the new release. I also used Funhouse Diagonal Stripes Stencil and inked Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo.  Next, I stamped the images from  Wrapped With Love , Pandtastic Painter and Popping By stamp sets using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.
