Happy Retirement Card

Hello crafty friends! Today I'm sharing a fun and easy retirement card featuring some goodies from the Heffy Doodle's new release. Now, let's get started!

First, I took a white card stock and cut it using the largest rectangle die from the Whimsically Wonky Imperial Rectangle Dies. I created the background using the Flower Power Stencil and Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry and Squeezed Lemonade.

Next, I took the happy word die from the Stitched Birthday Trio Frame Dies and cut some white card stock using the die. I ink blended 4 of the happy words using the Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilac. I used the rest of the happy words to layer and create some dimensions.

I heat-embossed the sentiment from the Special Day Sentiment Duos stamp set on a red card stock using white embossing powder. To finish off the card, I pulled out the Koality Hugs stamp set and chose this cute napping koala. Although this was a simple design, the one tricky part was lining everything up with equal spacing. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Heffy Doodle New Release Inspiration Blog Hop

Hello friends! Welcome to the Heffy Doodle New Release Inspiration Blog Hop! We are so excited to share amazing cards from 8 Design Team members using the new release! For today's card I'm featuring some awesome new products: Lots of Happy Stencil , Popping By stamps , Popping By dies  and Happy Birthday Shadow Heffy Cuts. First, I started by cutting a 4.25 x 5.5 inches panel, used Lots of Happy stencil and inked Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac. I love this stencil, it's definitely one of my favorite stencil from the new release. It' so versatile and can be used on many different types of projects.  Next, I stamped the images from Popping By and Party Palooza stamp sets. I colored them using Copic markers and cut them using the coordinating dies.   Hello friends! Welcome to the Heffy Doodle New Release Inspiration Blog Hop! We are so excited to share amazing cards from the Design Team members using the new release! For today's card I'm featuring some awesome new products: Wrapped With Love stamp , Wrapped With Love Dies , Funhouse Diagonal Stripes Stencil , Layering Hearts Stencil , Mini Scalloped Imperial Rectangle Dies and The Greatest Show Patterned Paper. First, I started by cutting a piece of white card stock using the largest scalloped rectangle die from Mini Scalloped Imperial Rectangle Dies . I placed Layering Hearts Stencil and inked Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo, Milled Lavender and Candied Apple. I love this stencil, it's definitely one of my favorite stencil from the new release. I also used Funhouse Diagonal Stripes Stencil and inked Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo.  Next, I stamped the images from  Wrapped With Love , Pandtastic Painter and Popping By stamp sets using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.
