You Are So Deer To Me

Hello crafty friends! Today, I'm sharing a sweet interactive card featuring these adorable critters from the Deer To Me stamp set.

First, I started by stamping all the images from the Deer to Me stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad. I colored them using Copic markers and cut them using the coordinating dies. I die cut two pieces of white card stock using the largest main frame die from the Big Shadow Box die and ran it through my die cut machine using the Woodgrain Texture Background Die.

Next, I ink blended Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Dried marigold and Twisted Citron on both sides.  I splattered it using gold shimmer paint and white watercolor paint. From one of the panels, I used the double stitched window to cut the center. I then heat embossed the sentiment using black embossing powder.

To help me build the scene, I created three inside panels using the grass border from the Slimline Scenery Diesand ink blended Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint. I also die cut a white card stock using the tree and leaves dies from the Tree-mendous Peekaboo Tree Dieand colored them using Copic markers.

Finally, I assembled all the panels for the box using double sided tape and used Glubert craft glueto adhered all the images.  I love how we can create our own pop-up 3D box card so easily using the Big Shadow Box Die and look how cool the wood texture effect from the Woodgrain Texture Background Die.
