Mom I Love You with Owl My Heart

Hello crafty friends! Mother's Day is just around the corner, so today I'm sharing a card highlighting the Mom Shadow Word Meraki Para-dies from #merakicheers new release and I combined it with the adorable owls from Owl Yours stamp set. 

I wanted to try something new and this is a technique that I've never tried before. I took a white card stock and sprayed Distress Oxide Spray Carved Pumpkin and Picked Raspberry, then I inked Distress Oxide Carved Pumpkin and Picked Raspberry to cover some white area that didn't get cover by the spray. I then sprinkled Distress Oxide Spray Mermaid Lagoon and Wilted Violet onto the card. The background looks like graffiti to me and it's not usually my style, but I'm really happy with the result. I stamped the images using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad, colored them using Copic markers and fussy cut them out. 

I die cut a white card stock using the Mom Shadow Word Die and ink blended Distress Oxide Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilac. I then sprinkle Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter for some added interest. I heat-embossed the sentiment on a red card stock using white embossing powder. Finally, I assembled the card together using glue and foam tape to add dimension. I adhered the card panel onto a piece of gold glitter card stock.

Heffy Doodle New Release Inspiration Blog Hop

Hello friends! Welcome to the Heffy Doodle New Release Inspiration Blog Hop! We are so excited to share amazing cards from 8 Design Team members using the new release! For today's card I'm featuring some awesome new products: Lots of Happy Stencil , Popping By stamps , Popping By dies  and Happy Birthday Shadow Heffy Cuts. First, I started by cutting a 4.25 x 5.5 inches panel, used Lots of Happy stencil and inked Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac. I love this stencil, it's definitely one of my favorite stencil from the new release. It' so versatile and can be used on many different types of projects.  Next, I stamped the images from Popping By and Party Palooza stamp sets. I colored them using Copic markers and cut them using the coordinating dies. Heffy Doodle New Release Inspiration Blog Hop

  Hello friends! Welcome to the Heffy Doodle New Release Inspiration Blog Hop! We are so excited to share amazing cards from the Design Team members using the new release! For today's card I'm featuring some awesome new products: Wrapped With Love stamp , Wrapped With Love Dies , Funhouse Diagonal Stripes Stencil , Layering Hearts Stencil , Mini Scalloped Imperial Rectangle Dies and The Greatest Show Patterned Paper. First, I started by cutting a piece of white card stock using the largest scalloped rectangle die from Mini Scalloped Imperial Rectangle Dies . I placed Layering Hearts Stencil and inked Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo, Milled Lavender and Candied Apple. I love this stencil, it's definitely one of my favorite stencil from the new release. I also used Funhouse Diagonal Stripes Stencil and inked Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo.  Next, I stamped the images from  Wrapped With Love , Pandtastic Painter and Popping By stamp sets using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.
